News releases

The Division of Occupational Psychology issues news releases through the Press Office of the British Psychological Society.

There are calendar events, such as the DOP Annual Conference in January, when member research and project activity generates high volumes of news and media interest. Other news is issued on an occasional basis throughout the year.

For a complete record of DOP news releases, visit the Society's news webpages.

Women at the Top

To coincide with BBC Two programme, Hilary Devey's Women at the Top, shown on 6 and 13 September, two conferences, sponsored by the Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology and Coventry University, were organised by Professor Rosalind Searle and the Division's vice-chair, Hazel Stevenson.

Both events looked at the progress being made by boards of FTSE 100 companies in achieving their aim of 25% female representation by 2015.

You can find videos, podcasts and presentations from the first event on our Women at the Top webpage.

Video podcasts

We will be bringing our members video podcasts about the Division's activities. The video podcasts are presented by members who are keen to broadcast central messages in occupational psychology.
