***DOP Cymru Member Survey***

As members interested in launching a Welsh Branch of the Division of Occupational Psychology, we would be grateful if you could complete the survey using the link below to establish if there is sufficient interest amongst members of the BPS Division of occupational Psychology in Wales to support a Welsh branch of the Divisional of Occupational Psychology, which already has an embryonic existence and which is provisionally called DOP Cymru. While those of us who have formed an embryonic branch and secured finance from the central DOP hope that sufficient of you express interest in joining the committee and or supporting events, we regret that if there is lack of interest we will have to close down and return the money to Leicester.

DOP Cymru is the latest of the Division's regional groups, and is currently being established to support and build an Occupational and Business Psychology community in Wales.

Aims of DOP Cymru

The aims of DOP Cymru are to:

  • develop the practice of occupational psychology throughout Wales
  • promote high standards of professional competence and behaviour amongst occupational psychologists
  • increase awareness of the benefits of occupational psychology amongst Welsh businesses and organisations and the wider public
  • develop networks and systems to support members who live and work in Wales

Further information on the aims and strategy for the group can be found in the DOP Cymru Business Plan and the draft Statment of Purpose.
