Occupational Psychology Practitioner of the Year Awards 2014 - nominate now!

The deadline for submissions is 12 September 2014.

This is a prestigious award that gives the DOP the chance to recognise, celebrate and publicise some of the excellent work that you carry out with clients. The nomination process is straightforward and can be completed easily by an involved third party (a colleague, or client) or the nominee themselves - i.e. you!

How the nominations work

  • Nominees should be Chartered Psychologists, HCPC Registered Occupational Psychologists and current DOP members.
  • A nomination will only be accepted for a named individual or individuals.
  • Self-nominations and third-party nominations are both accepted.
  • Nominations must be supported by client referees prepared to provide testimony if your nomination is shortlisted.
  • The nominee must have conducted a piece of work during the last two years, individually or as part of a larger team, that:
    • showed a good understanding of a real world problem in the private or public sector;
    • produced measurable outcomes for the client organisation;
    • demonstrated methodological rigour in its approach;
    • demonstrated ethical practice;
    • applied and/or contributed to the knowledge base.

How to nominate

To nominate please use one of the methods below:
  1. You can submit a nomination using the online version of the nomination form
    or
  2. You can submit using the Word Version Practitioner of the Year Nomination Form 2014 of the form.
Once you have completed the Word Version please send it to dopawards@bps.org.uk.

The deadline for submissions is 12 September 2014.

Please note: nominations are accepted at any time before this date - no need to wait for the deadline!
