DOP investment funds

As part of the Division's commitment to fulfilling its strategic aims and driving forward its four DOP @ Work objectives, the Committee have two funds, for which members can apply to fund a new initiative, event, programme, etc. The first fund is a Small Projects Fund and is for activities that need funding of between £500 and £1,999. The second fund is a Major Investment Fund and is for activities that need funding of £2,000 to £20,000. Both funds are meant to support organisations, groups and project teams and not individuals and aim to contribute to the four objectives of the Division:

Visibility - awareness of the profession and the value that it offers through scientifically grounded practice and inquiry

Influence - guidance and insight for people in organisations and for those responsible for making policy and decisions

Employability - promoting oppourtunities for the employment of the profession within private and public sector organisations

Competence - the acquisition and maintenance of competence for new entrants to and for existing members of the profession

The closing date for the Major Investment Fund is the end of May each year and the deadline to apply to the Small Projects Fund is quarterly (end of January, April, July and September).

This is your opportunity to have an input into what activities the Division undertakes and to help achieve the objectives of DOP @ Work.
